Ordering repeat prescriptions

You can now order prescriptions via:

We do not take prescription requests over the phone.

Please Note

  • Whichever method you use; you must allow 3 working days for your prescription to be ready for collection from your pharmacy.
  • You can order repeat medication up to 2 weeks before you are due to use the last of your current supply. Please give us as much notice as possible.
  • In the event of requesting medication, which is not on your repeat medication, or if you are overdue a medication review, it may take longer than 48 hours as the relevant clinician will have to review the request.
  • In order to prescribe medication safely, the doctors may ask you to book an appointment, either face to face or in person to discuss your request. The duration of the prescription may be reduced during this time at the clinician’s discretion.
  • Orders placed on a weekend, bank holiday or in the evening are not processed until the next working day.
  • OUT OF HOURS – If you need urgent re-supply of repeat medications when the surgery is closed, please contact 111.
