You will be told at your appointment how to obtain your test results and the timescale needed to process tests.
We ask patients to call the Surgery after 11am if they wish to enquire about routine test results. This helps reduce test result queries during our busiest phone line hours, ensuring that patients receive a better experience and do not have to wait long during peak times. It also allows our staff to manage calls more efficiently and prioritise urgent issues.
You can now check your own test results online by accessing your SystmOne online account or via the NHS app. Please visit our online services page for more details on how to get access if you do not have it currently.
For blood test results requested by the hospital, we do not receive the results at our practice. You will need to contact the hospital or the consultant who initially requested the blood tests for you for these results.
